Cybersecurity Curriculum Content Manager

The ideal candidate is or has:

  • A professional with background in cybersecurity industry or related training
  • A highly skilled content development professional with experience in editorial, education, learning science, publishing, or related cybersecurity industry training
  • A background that is not limited to developing print content. While such experience is a valuable part of the ideal candidate’s background, we seek an individual with experience developing a wider variety of content, e.g., digital instructional materials, video scripts and art specs, in-format tests, online workshops and quizzes
  • Experience in developing questions and other types of assessments
  • Managed organizations of both:
    • In- and out-of-house direct reports, and
    • Part-time and/or contract employees
  • Goal-oriented in management of team, ensuring that key performance indicators are consistently met or exceeded
  • An excellent communicator of complex ideas/projects in a straightforward way
  • Driven to seek data-supported decisions in creating instruction
  • Some experience with Agile development methods

Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of developers creating content in diverse media—digital assets, video, student and teacher-facing print materials—including providing training, oversight, and support to a team of diverse professional backgrounds.
  • Own the content development process and can be a Subject Matter Expert
  • Create (or oversee the creation of) writer and editor training, style guides, and other process documentation
  • Define and be accountable for editorial acceptance criteria and quality
  • Establish best-practice processes and monitor them for innovation and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Ensure that work takes place in accordance with the budget and project or release plan
  • Source, train, and manage part-time out-of-house writers and editors
  • Work with Instructional Design team to ensure product efficacy
  • Use research and data to inform future learning interventions and content development decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant area
  • 3-5 years’ experience in cybersecurity preferred; other relevant areas – education, product development
  • Demonstrated success in communications, especially explaining difficult concepts into plain language
  • High level of comfort working collaboratively as part of a multi-functional team
  • Ability to thrive under the pressure of deadlines
  • Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills

Executive Director of Marketing

The Executive Director of Marketing leads the firm’s growth marketing strategies and execution while overseeing the marketing department. Responsibilities

  • Developing and leading a cohesive marketing strategy across each product line and for the company at large
  • Developing and managing a channel partner system to generate new opportunities, group purchase and affinity marketing programs.
  • Hiring, coaching, development and team building of a rapidly growing marketing team including a creative services arm.
  • Full service marketing responsibilities including improving and generating new marketing materials and collateral, lead marketing-related event planning and tactics, earned media, social marketing advertising, sponsorships, etc.
  • Responsible for budget management
  • Development, documenting and continuously improving the full customer life cycle from lead generation to ongoing referral cultivation.
  • Developing the sales training curriculum and materials as well as sales enablement collateral that enable the team to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Leveraging and improving the use of company CRM system for efficiency, growth, and as a performance KPI dashboard
  • Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
  • Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Responsive for performance marketing, analytics, and optimization
  • Responsible for regular reports and presentations on marketing and other success metrics
  • Oversee and conduct market and competitive analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of a successful track record of marketing leadership experience and experience as a marketing director
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field ; MBA preferred
  • Ability to work well in a flexible, “roll up your sleeves” and dynamic work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving and analytical skills
  • Solid knowledge of digital media including SEO, SEM, and social media
  • Highly proficient with CRM software, eCommerce systems, and digital marketing tools and techniques – HubSpot, Shopify experience a plus
