Marketing Specialist

Marketing Specialist Job Duties:

  • Works closely with the Marketing Manager and marketing team in development and execution of marketing campaigns, including content creation, product launches, promotion, and sales enablement
  • Spearheads small scale and medium scale events to drive leads — includes planning and attending events in Washington D.C. and Arlington, VA
  • Designs social media shares and campaigns across channels including (but not limited to) Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Reddit
  • Orders and manages inventory of promotional items, event support items, and product collateral
  • Represents the company at industry events and association meetings, on college campuses, at career fairs, and trade shows
  • Plans and executes all event material shipments and booth displays
  • Assists in reviewing, staging, and executing weekly email marketing initiatives
  • Creates marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data across channels to drive key marketing decisions
  • Provides support through phone and email to marketing generated leads
  • Researches competitive products and maintains competitive database
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Marketing Specialist Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or Communication Studies
  • 2+ years marketing experience
  • 1+ year managing professional social media experience
  • 1+ years experience working with CRM or Marketing Automation platforms (HubSpot preferred), Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, or similar
  • Knowledge of marketing, advertising, and sales functions
  • Willingness to travel (up to 15%) to events and conferences
  • Strong time management and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Job Requirements
